The innovative app is designed to assist individuals with visual impairments in real time.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A new assistive technology app designed to aid individuals with visual impairments is making its way to the Art Museum of South Texas.
ReBokeh, an app created to assist those with low vision, offers users customizable visual filters to enhance their sight in everyday situations. Unlike traditional assistive technology that relies on audio or tactile methods, ReBokeh provides real-time visual adjustments.
"Really practically, there's a bunch of sliders within ReBokeh that lets you adjust almost like a photo editing app for real life, but instead of the filters being optimized to create a pretty picture, they're optimized to help people make the most of their sight," said Rebecca Rosenberg, the app’s founder and CEO.
