Vienna, Austria - ReBokeh Vision Technologies has been selected as a finalist for the Zero Project Awards 2026. The awards - which are part of an initiative committed to the global implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) - set out to identify solutions that are outstanding in terms of innovation, project, and scalability. This year’s awards focus on accessibility, ICT, and crisis response across civil society, the public sector, the business sector, and the interdisciplinary ICT sector.

This year, the Zero Project received an unprecedented number of nominations: 586 in total from 93 countries. ReBokeh’s sole-source assistive technology for people with low vision was one of just 163 solutions chosen as a finalist for the awards - and one of just 17 from North America.

Beginning in late August 2025, the Zero Project will engage with additional experts and peer-reviewers from around the globe to vote on the shortlisted nominations, with the goal of selecting about 70 awardees. The Zero Project Team will announce all awardees on December 3, 2025, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
